I spent the rest of today packaging Ubuntu One for ease of installation, and only just finished. There was a tricky bug in my ubuntuone-sso-client SPEC file that I was finally able to track down and squash with the help of the #fedora-devel crew.

The packages built and installed on my system, but I have not tested them in a clean environment yet. They may include unnecessary dependencies, or fail to include necessary dependencies. I'll work on that tomorrow.

After I got the basic underlying components of Ubuntu One installed yesterday, I realized that I was missing GNOME integration. I spent some time trying to compile the ubuntuone-client-gnome package, but eventually decided to write a Nautilus script of my own to provide the functionality I need (namely, making Ubuntu One sync selected files and folders). I uploaded the script to a github repository here.

Spent the day installing Ubuntu One in Fedora 15 with the help of the good folks on the #ubuntuone channel. Here are the steps I used to make it work:
